We are driven by a shared commitment to address today’s most pressing economic and policy challenges through equitable, sustainable, and evidence-based approaches. Mission
ASCEND – Alliance for Sustainable and Competitive Economic & National Development is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable industrial growth, digital innovation, and circular economic development. We foster cross-border collaboration, support climate resilience, and promote strategic transformation in key sectors such as trade, health, research & technology, sustainability and climate protection and technology. By combining research, policy advocacy, and hands-on support, ASCEND empowers businesses, governments, and communities to thrive in a globally connected, equitable, and climate-conscious economy.
Our goal is to attract international investments into a dedicated portfolio to support both well-established global companies and SMEs operating in six key sectors. These investments are aimed at tackling critical market and policy failures by enabling the development and adoption of new technologies and solutions that deliver impactful and sustainable returns—economically, socially, and environmentally.
To ensure strategic alignment and measurable impact, we apply a robust, data-driven evaluation process using our proprietary in-house software. This process includes:
Assessing the potential and scalability of new solutions;
Identifying suitable market fit and evaluating sector-specific relevance;
Conducting cost-utility and benefit analyses;
Forecasting project outcomes and long-term sectoral impact;
